Living in Heber, Utah is a lot like living in any home town, with local sports being a big part of the lifestyle. Families look for T-Ball, Little League, soccer and of course, junior high and high school sports. What is sport organizations are in Heber, Utah? Are their sport opportunities for adults? Is there a parks and recreation department in Heber?

Heber is such a cute little town where families and their activities are so important! Often times the High School sporting events are the highlight of Friday night for the entire town. You will find the local newspaper, The Wasatch Wave, filled will articles and pictures of their “hometown hero’s”. This years girls basketball team went undefeated and was ranked 2nd in the entire state by the Salt Lake Tribune! And of course, there is tremendous pride in their Olympic Champion, Cale Sanderson. This is just a great town with hardworking people and hometown pride.
Heber is having it’s Cowboy Poetry event this week! If you’ve never been, its a must see. The snow has fallen and the skies are blue, its a great time to be in Heber!
